Sunila holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is registered with AHPRA.  Sunila has worked with children, adolescents, and adults presenting with a range of difficulties as well as developmental issues.

Sunila uses a person-centred approach in which therapy is adapted to the needs of the individual.  For this, Sunila uses an eclectic blend of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness based approaches for treating clients.  She utilizes a wide range of techniques with a holistic orientation to educate clients about the connection between body, mind, and spirit.  Her theory is that as people learn how to connect the dots, they can become more open to challenge their beliefs and attitudes which frees up the space to experience change.

Additionally, Sunila believes that clients should be empowered to reclaim control of their lives so that they can become more confident to confront and experience the ups and downs of life.  Sunila consults from both our Campbelltown and Moorebank rooms.
